Many people think of all-in-one
components as offering a good compromise between performance and
simplicity. The Solo makes no such compromise. It truly
is a high-end system that just happens to be dressed in lifestyle
clothing. It combines the features of a CD player, tuner, and
integrated amplifier. Most buyers will want the U.S. AM/FM version. However, an "international" version, which might be of interest to people living near the Canadian border, is also available. It has an FM/DAB tuner, (DAB is a digital broadcast standard used in most of the world, but not in the U.S.)

FMJ CD36 Upsampling CD Player - $1999
Based on Arcam's highly-acclaimed
CD33, this new player employs the same upsampling techniques,
converting standard 16bit/44.1k CD data to 24/bit/192k. In

and Arcam's Mask of Silence technologies. An optional high
performance mm/mc phono module is available.
While the C31 is too new to have accumulated a catalog of reviews, the "reviews" link below will take you to our library of C30 reviews. Note that the C31 does away with the C30's optional multi-channel module in favor of simplified signal paths and dramatically improved performance. So the C30 reviews will provide only an indication of the minimum levels of performance you should expect from the new C31.
